Making heat visible for optimum fire protection, all-round safety and higher profitability
MOBOTIX thermal technology makes both heat and cold visible. It is an indispensable tool for fire protection and ensuring the safety of people and objects. MOBOTIX thermal cameras also keep track of complex processes, such as production and processing, which saves money and boost profits.
This is How MOBOTIX Thermal Imaging Technology Works
Thermal imaging is a contactless imaging process that makes it possible to see infrared heat radiation otherwise invisible to the human eye. Temperatures are usually displayed on a scale from red (hot) to yellow (warm) to blue (cold). Other possible displays include black-and-white or false colors such as amber. This is often used in perimeter protection to easily detect moving people in any lighting situation.
Thermal TR technology
Thermal cameras with integrated TR (thermal radiometry) technology measure thermal radiation across the entire image area and assign a temperature value to each pixel. These precise measured values are used to trigger an event (e.g. alarm or network message) if the value exceeds or falls short of an individually adjustable threshold value. To increase measurement accuracy, a black body radiator is recommended to obtain an exact reference value comparison (emissivity of objects).
MOBOTIX Advanced Radiometry App
Extremely Flexible — Extremely Accurate
The intelligent MOBOTIX Advanced Radiometry app can be used to define up to 20 individual measuring ranges in a single camera image in conjunction with a MOBOTIX TR sensor. This is beneficial, for example, when individual levels of emissivity must be calibrated because the image contains various materials that reflect heat differently.
