Software Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)
based in Langmeil, Germany (HQ)
Your Job
- Review and test of requirements and specifications for the development of software products
- Definition and execution of test cases during integration and system testing of our software products (cameras, applications, mobile applications)
- Test management using a dedicated tool (Zephyr for Jira)
- Close collaboration with partner companies for development-related testing and to ensure compliance with requirements
- Analyzing, recording and tracking defects using a bug tracking tool, including customer defects (Jira)
- Installing and maintaining dedicated hardware, software, virtual environments and other test equipment to test our software within different operating systems and settings
- Installing, maintaining, developing and using test automation software (e.g. Squish, Jenkins, Appium, Robot, Selenium, specific Python scripts)
Your Profile
- Successfully accomplished studies in the field of computer science or equivalent education
- 2+ years experience in an equal position (or) 5+ years experience in a related field is a plus
- Skills in software engineering, test management and test automation (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Robot)
- Scripting skills with Python, JavaScript or other script languages
- Knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android operating systems on a scripting level
- Well-grounded network knowledge
- Skills in IT infrastructure and system integration tasks
- Very good (or) good English speaking and writing skills
