Pan Pacific Orchard is one of Singapore‘s most outstanding luxury hotels, located directly on the legendary Orchard Road shopping mile. It fascinates with a ground-breaking architectural concept in sky terrace design, which presents four areas inspired by nature - forest, beach, garden and clouds on different levels. Pan Pacific Hotels Group is a global hotel company with around 50 hotels and resorts in more than 30 cities in the Asia-Pacific region, North America and Europe. The company is headquartered in Singapore.

Being inconspicuous and robust

At Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore, the focus is uncompromisingly on the well-being and relaxation of the guests. Highly reliable cameras are used to ensure this experience without being intrusive to the guest. The ambiance of the hotel is biophilic, nature-inspired. The corresponding surveillance technology must fit discreetly into the overall picture and also be durable and robust. The humid, tropical and maritime climate in Singapore is challenging for the cameras in outdoor use.

Work discreetly, covertly and disguised

A total of 305 MOBOTIX IOT and MOVE cameras are used in the hotel complex. The hemispheric Q26 and c26 cameras discreetly provide a 360° all-round view and can cover an entire room as a single camera. The concealed S26 is ideal for mounting behind a wall so that only the small sensor module is visible. Where the video technology is visible, cameras and mounts were painted in the color of the surroundings based on the architect‘s design by MOBOTIX partner SPIRALTECH. The customized solutions blend seamlessly and unobtrusively into the ambiance of the hotel. The challenging project required two years of planning, from the first electronic drawing to the measurement and installation of the high-end cameras.

High individuality for high demands

The luxury hotel benefited from the MOBOTIX solution from a single source. From planning, video technology and storage to the free VMS MxManagementCenter, SPIRALTECH was a reliable partner. Even extensive customizations, such as the color adjustment of the cameras, could be implemented smoothly and to the complete satisfaction of the customer. The use of MOBOTIX technology in other hotels in the group is already being planned.
