These Release Notes
contain a technical description of the most important changes in the software for
the MOBOTIX MOVE NVR 8/16 channel devices.
Overview of Software Releases
Notes:
- Please
download the stable customer releases of the software from www.mobotix.com in the Support >
Download Center > Software Downloads section.
- After
downloading the software, please extract both files to the same folder.
The device needs both files at the same location in
order to verify the software before starting the installation.

New Features
- User-definable
PoE-Port DHCP start IP-address for cameras connected to the PoE port
directly

Improvements
·
UI improvement - when parameter is saved, there will be "Save
succeeded" text shown on the bottom to indicate changed parameters saved.

UI improvement - under "Add device", user has
to unlock the camera lock symbol first to do any parameter change. After
the parameters are changed and camera locked, there will be pop up window
"Save succeeded"

UI Improvement - under guest mode, users don't need to logout first to
login as admin

In
“About-Window” additional SW Info available: Display of FW version,
release date, 3rd Party SW-licenses (GPL, GNU…)

UI adjustment - Under live view, adjust character length to avoid text
being blocked when using German

New Features
- Optimized DDR
configuration to avoid system crash under high loading
- Streaming
load control: if the main
stream is more than 4K resolution and stream 2 is more than D1
resolution, we will have an exclamation mark to inform the user the
resolution is more than recommended value. When mouse hovers over the
mark, a warning message “Camera Resolution is out of range” will be
displayed
- New
option for support of camera reboot from UI in “Live
view > Camera system setup" dialog
- If
alarm is triggered, there will be information in
notification center.
- Long
press the power key for 10 seconds triggers force shutdown.
Long press the power key for 3-4 second triggers power options (cancel,
power off, reboot) on screen.
- Support
of App push notification
- Use
webRTC to support non-IE
browser to improve latency
- New
naming rule 'mb'+<release date>+'NVR816' for firmware binary files.
For example: mb20210330NVR816, where 816 means NVR 8 and 16 CH.
Note: Need to upgrade with .txz & .sha512 files first then we support
.zip file upgrade
- Added
Video Analytics page under Setup > Video
Analytics to manage Video analytics database.
Improvements
- For
the first login, users have to set
password (no default password anymore).
- Character
'ä-Ä', 'ö -Ö' and 'ü-Ü' are counted as special characters
which can't be used to set the password. There will be a warning
message pop-up if users use these characters.

Note
All characters on German keyboards are supported except for umlauts (äöüß) in these cases:

time sync support where remote time format will adjust to local time
format (as set in Setup > System > Date/Time).
Notes
- The
date/time format will not change in the Setup >
System > Date/Time dialog.

Setup > System > Date/Time dialog.
